Before getting down and dirty in the print shop, we opted to get dirty outside first. Using only leftover screen inks and paints, and whatever we could scrounge to print with, we made a collaborative print - frequently employing our bare hands and feet. We want this class to be a freeing experience - and therefore very, very dirty (so to speak).
May term at Regis Center for Art offers a unique Print course designed to use print and paper as supporting media for time sensitive artwork! This is a proposal based course, open to any traditional or contemporary practices that you choose, including, but not limited to, web media, theater, puppetry, social art, street art, video, animation, sculpture. The whole affair will be tracked with this blog and culminate with a public event.
